Girls and Boys entering the 7^th and 8^th Grade at Pierson Middle School in the fall are invited to attend free summer open tennis sessions with newly appointed Sag Harbor Middle School tennis coach and Mashashimuet Park tennis pro Mr. Alvin Hollander.   Our new combined (with the Bridgehampton Schools) middle school tennis program starts this fall with a 7^th and 8^th grade girls’ tennis team, and in the spring with a boys’ 7^th and 8^th grade tennis team. Please act now as openings are limited. Call 725-4159 to register. First session will take place Wednesday, August 11, from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. at the Mashashimuet Park tennis courts.  Attendees should come prepared to play, with tennis sneakers (no running shoes), racquet, drinking water, and towel.  Tennis balls will be provided.

All Pierson girls going into the 7^th and 8^th grade this fall who are interested in being on the new girls’ tennis team this fall, please call the Athletic Office to sign up, or stop by the Athletic Office with a parent to let us know if you are interested.  The practices and home matches will take place at Mashashimuet Park

Dear Families,

I hope everyone has been enjoying this beautiful spring weather.  The Middle School students were very busy during the month of May preparing for the Science Fair, taking the New York State Tests, practicing for the music concerts and attending field trips to Washington DC, Boston and the Vanderbilt Museum.  June is a short month and the schedule for the end of the year presents some changes. I have attached a calendar, by grade level, for the end of the year alternative schedule.  Please note that the last full day of school is June 16th, and half days begin on June 17th, with an early dismissal of 10:50 a.m.  

On the half-day schedules students will be dismissed at 10:50 a.m.  ONLY 8th grade students will attend school on Wednesday, June 23rd for the Moving Up Ceremony.  The ceremony begins at 10:00 a.m.
